So have you really thought...."I really really want to be fluent someday in Spanish"? If so, you might want to start thinking about what you can do NOW to prepare and get to your goal. I remember it was hard...at times I felt like I couldn't get enough practice but one way that really helped me was keeping my own journal. I got to where I LOVED to write in Spanish. It was always a challenge to see how much I could write in ONE setting and still to this day, I much rather write in Spanish than English. I highly recommend buying a composition notebook and start writing. It doesn't have to be perfect, or make sense even. Create fake conversations, create paragraphs like the ones we read in class or simply create sentences. I use to see if I could fill a whole page writing sentences in Spanish. I know, I was a little crazy, right?!? But, it got me there and today I can hopefully pass on this passion to you! So, what are you waiting for?! Get your notebook ready and let your pen do the talking. P.S. Mrs. Baxter will always check your writings if you want some feedback :) Gracias, Mrs. Baxter
